resources for learning more about adoption. We have annotated
the links to explain what we feel is most useful about the
site or organization, and how you might use the resource most effectively.
Center for Adoption Research is an assists families and professionals by providing independent research, evaluation and education to improve the lives of children in adoptive and foster families.
The Child Welfare League of America an organization that advocates for cmotes the well-being of children, youth, and their families. The site has an extensive media library discussing issues and trends in parenting and adoption.
Adoptive Families Magazine a magazine that provides an information source for families before, during, and after adoption.
Massachusetts Laws about Adoption provides information about adoption laws and pending legislation in Massachusetts
National Adoption Information Clearinghouse was established by Congress in 1987 to provide free information on all aspects of
adoption. The NAIC website provides comprehensive information on domestic and
intercountry adoption.
United States Department of Health and Human Services provides information about child care, adoption, and federal and state assistence programs available to parents.
