Our Commitment
We hope to instill pride in Adam for his diverse background. His birth heritage consists of Portuguese, French, African American and American Indian.Nancy's background is Italian and Kjartan's is Scandinavian. We want Adam to grow up to be proud of all these backgrounds that make him who he is. We will do what we can to make sure that our next child embraces his/her birth heritage as well.
We have a special relationship with Adam's birth parents. We send pictures, talk on the phone, and visit in person. We believe that Adam should know the story of his adoption and understand how much he is loved by everyone. We certainly would want the same for our second child as well.
We hope these pictures and stories of our life together will assure you that we have a loving home and are capable of giving another child all that is required to grow up in a healthy, loving environment. We want you to know that your baby will be well cared for, cherished and loved not only by us, but by our entire extended family and close friends.
