Introduction
Hello! Our names are Lisa, John and Collin, and we are all very excited about the prospect of adding a new child to our family through adoption. We appreciate your taking the time to learn about us.
We have been married for over 10 years, and knew each other for three years before that. We knew from the outset that we wanted to have children, and for five years tried to conceive on our own without success. Finally, after several rounds of fertility treatment, Lisa gave birth to our son Collin, now age 5. We hoped to have another child, but further treatments were unsuccessful. Through friends, we met other couples who had chosen to adopt. Their experiences were inspiring and encouraging, so we turned to adoption as the best way to complete our family and provide a loving home to a child who needs one. We enjoy parenting very much, and are looking forward to opening our hearts and home to another child.
