Ashley about Kieran
Our first date continued for hours because both of us were having so much fun together. I remember thinking that even if it didn't work out romantically, I would want this person as a friend. I truly admire how seriously Kieran takes responsibility to friends and family. It's such a gift to know how surely I can count on him, in the good and the difficult times. For as long as I have known him, he has called his family in Ireland every Sunday to see how they are doing. When he was in college, he lived with his older sister and her husband right after they had their first child. It is fair to say Kieran helped raise his nephew, during the first year of his nephew's life. Kieran can change a diaper; sing Sesame Street songs and sense when a child is worn out. He is not only concerned about a child's environmental needs, but of their emotional needs as well.I know he will be a wonderful father and that our child will feel celebrated in his or her small and big accomplishments, from earliest baby-hood on!

Ashley is my best friend, she is a good listener, and she takes good care of me. She is a strong and empathetic woman. Ashley has surrounded herself with children her whole adult life and has always dreamed of being a mother. She has spent over ten years working with an autistic child. She takes the role of parenting seriously, but also has fun with children. I see how comfortable Ashley is with kids, how well she connects with them and how loving she is. Any child would be lucky to have Ashley as a mother, mentor and role model.
