About Us

We’ve been married for 5 years and together for 10. We are both blessed with large families that are an integral part of our lives and we spend as much time with them as we can. Kelley has two sisters and three brothers. Marc has one brother and one sister. All are married and collectively we have 17 nieces and nephews with another one on the way. We are godparents and guardians to several of them. In addition, we are extremely close to our extended family, with aunts, uncles, cousins, and second cousins always in the picture. Our families play a huge part in our lives and we are blessed by the fact that we like them as much as we love them!

Kelley works in Human Resources for a large high-tech company and Marc is an expert in the IT field. We are fortunate that Marc will be a “stay-at-home dad” when our child arrives.

We live an active lifestyle and are happiest when we're outdoors. In the summer we often can be found on the lake water skiing, which keeps us fit for all the skiing and snow boarding we love to do in the winter. We also enjoy camping, biking, hiking, and taking long rides on our motorcycle.

We can't wait for the chance to share these activities with a child – from splashing around in the bathtub to making a splash in the lake, from navigating the bunny slopes to skiing circles around mom and dad, and from riding behind us on a bicycle to the first teetering, independent ride – we will enjoy watching him/her experience all these wonders. We share our love of the outdoors with many of our siblings, and look forward to big family camping weekends and sleeping in a tent with all the aunts, uncles, and cousins nearby.

When the weather keeps us indoors, Marc often can be found puttering in his basement workshop while Kelley will be curled up on the couch with our cat, Cleo, watching a sappy movie or reading a good book. She also is quite the crafter with talents that include quilting, knitting, sewing, and pottery to name a few. We long to pass these talents along to a child and share our combined knowledge and interests, but more importantly, we look forward to finding out what he/she loves to do. Discovering each other is part of the adventure we can't wait to begin.
